Showcase of Meeting the South #1:
10 October – 16 October 2009

Meeting the South #3 will be a workshop to share the tricks and tips of drawing life caricature. Participant will learn the know-how of live portrait sketch. The workshop is to demonstrate the know-how of life caricature sketch. Beside, introduce “marks-making” concept to show the right perception about drawing. Drawing is not about making picture but it is medium of communication and it catalysts right and left brain activities toward balance lifestyle.

Participation:

Workshop – Duration is 2 hours for 20 participants each time. Pre-registration is needed to collect participants’ basic information for academia purposes. Every pieces of finished caricature drawing will display for a week. Participants will bring back reproduction copies. All the drawings are part of Meeting the South #3 (2009), as in collaboration artwork with TC Liew.

The New Media Design and Technology department offers an innovative curriculum, professional-level computer facilities, and a supportive learning environment.

With a strong industry focus, the undergraduate program allows students to focus their studies in specific areas such as two-dimensional or three-dimensional character animation, game development, experimental animation and interactivity or motion graphics.
